Daily Assignments Science: We have a new Interactive Science journal this year that is just like a textbook, only the students get to write in it! You shouldn't see the journal very often, I recommend that students keep it at school.
Chaper 10 and Chapter 7 are working hand in hand this unit to help us learn about solids, liquids, and gases (states of matter) and their properties. Then we will travel through the water cycle and learn how water is a non-renewable source and that we recycle it daily. 2/5- Lesson Check 10.2 2/7- Lesson Check 10.3 2/8- Lesson Check 10.5 2/11- Lesson Check 7.1 2/13- Lesson Check 7.2 2/19- Dry Ice Lab 2/21- Matter and Water Cycle test!! Geography:
Content Objective: Students are able to identify the countries, capitals, landforms, and major historical events of Europe.
Assignments: (2/4-2/8) -Study for Europe Countries/Capitals Test on FRIDAY!! -Chapter Questions 17.3, 17.4, 18.1, 18.3 Due Friday! |
English/ Language Arts:
Content Objective: Students are able to apply Comprehension Skills to their reading, including: Problem Solving, Noting Details, Compare/Contrast, and Making Inferences.
Assignments: (2/4-2/8) -Narrative Writing Contest Outline due FRIDAY! -Literature Circle Assignments *Discussion Starter Page *Journal Entry *5 Post-its -AR READ!! (50% due on Friday!) Students are required to read portions their Literature Circle book WEEKLY on their own! 3rd Quater AR GOAL is due March 8th!!!! |
